Paint Party Agreement

Step 1: Email Carrie at support@cowfordcanvas.com to discuss a date, time, and design for your Paint Party.  No deposit required to secure date.

Step 2: Pay for Paint Party no later than 5 days prior to event

Step 3: Host the Paint Party!

 

Cowford Canvas Responsibilities:

• Communicate with host from booking details through final arrangements.

• Bring all required painting supplies

  • 11” x 14” canvases (pre sketched)

  • Acrylic paint in the colors needed for the selected design

  • Brushes

  • Water containers (sometimes shared between 2 painters)

  • Disposable plates to serve as palettes (up to 2 per painter)

  • Paper towels (2 per painter)

  • Table-top easels for parties up to 50 painters

• Arrive 30 min to 1 hour prior to paint party start time to set up. Arrival time can fluctuate based on familiarity with venue site and number of participants.

• Pack up all paint party supplies after event has ended (approximately 30-60 minutes)

• NOTE: Cowford Canvas does not provide aprons or protective coverings for tables.  Please see Paint Party Host Responsibilities below.

 

Paint Party Host Responsibilities (That’s you!):

• Choose a paint party design from CowfordCanvas. Navigate to “Designs” from menu.  Design must be selected no later than 14 days prior to event to ensure Cowford Canvas can purchase specific paint colors.  

• Provide the following for the paint party:

  • Table space (approx. 2 feet wide per participant)

  • Seating for participants

  • Access to water and sink

  • Protective coverings for surfaces since acrylic paint will stain surfaces and clothing:

    • Protective coverings for tables (disposable plastic table cloths are recommended for ease of clean-up)

    • Protective coverings for floors, if needed. 

    • Protective coverings of nearby furniture if painting in tight quarters (living room, dining room, etc.)

    • Communication to invited guests that acrylic paint will stain clothing and that they may wish to bring an apron.

    • Cowford Canvas is not responsible for any damages caused by any painting supplies.

• Ensure that Paint Party fees are paid no later than 5 days prior to event. $35 per person (min. 10 people).  Paint Party host can choose one of the following options:

  • Cowford Canvas will create a pay link so that the host can distribute this link to each participant for individual payment. Or,

  • Cowford Canvas will create a pay link for the entire balance of the paint party. Or,

  • Host can choose to submit payment by check or cash (must be received 5 days prior to event)

 

Refund Policy:  There are no refunds for cancellations and/or no-shows once final payment has been made (5 days prior to event).
